4 cups almond flour
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1 quart (32-ounce) wide-mouth glass jar with lid
Directions

1. Gift Jar: In large bowl, whisk all ingredients and 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Into jar, pour biscuit mix, packing if necessary, and seal jar; add festive decorations and a label.

 

2. Baking Directions: Write the following baking directions on an index card for giving with the gift jar. Preheat oven to 375°; line rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. In large bowl, add biscuit mix; with fingertips, work in 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter (1 stick), cut into 1/2-inch pieces, until pea-sized crumbs remain; stir in 3 large eggs and 3 tablespoons water. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls, 2 inches apart, onto prepared pan; bake 18 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Makes about 12 biscuits.
